Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving meals of outstanding quality, wholesomeness, and nutrition.
- Ensuring meals meet individual needs, religious and cultural backgrounds.
- Creating and presenting menus attractively, stimulating residents’ appetites.
- Leading and coaching a team to develop cooking ideas.
Skills and Expertise
- City & Guilds 706 1&2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Head chef or Head Cook experience
- Supervisory or Line Management experience
- Caring nature; personal approach
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and delegate effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to changes
- Warm, approachable, and engaging persona
- Respectful and considerate of others
- Resilient and adaptable to differing needs
