SEN Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils aged 11-18 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Delivering support to pupils with co-occurring conditions (Autism, ADHD, etc.).
- Encouraging and challenging pupils to reach their full potential.
- Providing a personalised approach to the curriculum for each pupil.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience working with young people or young adults with SEN.
- Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum.
- Proven record of good/outstanding feedback from lesson observations/performance management.
- Articulate, creative, and dedicated to supporting children with SEN.
- Passionate, positive, and a strong team player.
- Confident and strong classroom management skills.
- Enthusiastic and committed to teaching children with SEN.
