Clinical Pharmacy Lecturer
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and research in Clinical Pharmacy Practice across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Contributing to the design and delivery of learning and teaching materials, including examinations.
- Co-ordinating and supporting the development of modules in degree programmes.
- Undertaking the role of module lead while liaising with Programme and Year tutors and other Subject Groups.
- Developing research opportunities and scholarly activity in clinical pharmacy practice.
Skills and Expertise
- Clinical pharmacy practice experience in hospital, community, or primary care.
- Relevant teaching and research experience, including successful research grant awards and/or publications (desirable).
- Proficiency in English language.
- Ability to plan and manage own activities effectively.
- Relevant IT skills.
- (For Senior Lecturer): Proven recent and relevant post-qualification practical experience, including teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree in pharmacy.
- (For Senior Lecturer): Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
- (For UH8): Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Salary: Lecturer UH7 37,099 – 45,163, Senior Lecturer UH8 45,163 – 56,921 (with potential annual increments based on skills and experience).
- Permanent contract.
