Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in all aspects of Home Management, ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating, and homely environment for residents and visitors.
- Monitor resident wellbeing, recognizing and responding to any changes affecting care and care plans.
- Serve as a point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals involved in resident wellbeing.
- Prepare staff duty rosters to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Appraise staff performance.
- Advise on and ensure timely ordering of supplies and replacement goods, ensuring quality.
Skills and Expertise
- Current NMC registration
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes
- Minimum two years experience in a similar care environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills (advantageous)
- Positive attitude towards staff development and resident care enhancement
