Clinical Development Nurse – Norfolk & Suffolk

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and quality of care for residents in eight care homes throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.
  • Support the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review clinical governance database and KPIs of each home monthly, analyse results, and identify strategies to meet regulations and improve care.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to support continual improvement of standards and implement key actions to address issues.
  • Organise new training, attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations.

Skills and Expertise

  • Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
  • Experienced nurse with care home environment experience.
  • Confident clinical mentor, including newly-qualified nurses.
  • Excellent leadership skills, sharp analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver action plans.
