Clinical Development Nurse – Norfolk & Suffolk
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and quality of care for residents in eight care homes throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.
- Support the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
- Review clinical governance database and KPIs of each home monthly, analyse results, and identify strategies to meet regulations and improve care.
- Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to support continual improvement of standards and implement key actions to address issues.
- Organise new training, attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations.
Skills and Expertise
- Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
- Experienced nurse with care home environment experience.
- Confident clinical mentor, including newly-qualified nurses.
- Excellent leadership skills, sharp analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver action plans.
