Teaching Vacancies

What skills and experience we’re looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Citizenship Teacher who will deliver innovative and creative lessons that engage and challenge students to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will teach Citizenship at KS3 & KS4 and would be joining a faculty that is experienced, supportive and high achieving. We would, however, consider applications from those with a strong Social Science background.

Initial discussions with Paula Cowell, Assistant Principal are warmly welcomed and visits are actively encouraged. Both can be arranged by contacting the school.

We recommend early applications as the school reserves the right to close the advert prior to the stated deadline date

What the school offers its staff

At CBSC there is a strong emphasis on sustaining and raising achievement in imaginative ways. There is a genuine commitment to collaboration and professional development through a bespoke CPD programme.

Commitment to safeguarding

CBSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be required to undertake a criminal check via the DBS before they can be appointed.
