Key Responsibilities
- Managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage.
- Supporting new team members with learning procedures and kitchen standards.
- Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, including fine dining for functions.
- Working collaboratively as part of a chef team and acting as a trainer/coach.
- Following recipe cards, preparing, cooking, and serving meals.
- Assisting with deliveries, stock checks, food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries.
- Completing daily paperwork and assisting with daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
Skills and Expertise
- Relevant culinary qualification (minimum NVQ level 2)
- Excellent team player and communicator
- Confident chef
- Flexibility and the ability to innovate
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Full-time position (11.75/hour, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends)
