Key Responsibilities
- Managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
- Supporting new team members with learning procedures and kitchen standards
- Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/coach
- Following recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve meals
- Assisting with deliveries, stock checks, food orders, and maintaining kitchen records
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
- Completing daily paperwork for due diligence
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
Skills and Expertise
- Relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2, or equivalent)
- Chef experience (considered)
- Excellent team player and communication skills
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Full-time position (35 hours per week)
- Shift pattern (5 days over 7, including weekends)
