Key Responsibilities
- Assist Head Chef in creating nutritious and balanced menus.
- Work with residents to tailor menus.
- Help manage the kitchen in Head Chef’s absence.
- Work fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Create a warm and efficient kitchen environment.
- Work within budget.
- Complete regular audits.
- Manage stock control.
- Assist in leading and motivating a team.
Skills and Expertise
- Qualified Chef
- Experience with fresh seasonal food
- Good understanding of nutrition
- Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
- Understanding of HACCP
- Personable and warm approach
- Genuine interest in resident wellbeing
- City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
