Chef de Partie – Northwood HQ
Key Responsibilities
- Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
- Function work, including silver service food preparation
- Working effectively as part of a chef team
- Following recipes, preparing, cooking, and serving meals
- Completing daily paperwork for due diligence
- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
- Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
- Sharing responsibility with the Chef/Catering manager for food deliveries
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen cleaning
- Full knowledge of all menu items
- Managing production and food levels to minimize waste
- Undertaking relevant training as required
Skills and Expertise
- Food Hygiene level 2 or higher
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Previous catering/Mess operational experience (preferred, but training provided)
- Confident chef
- DBS check required
