Catering Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, adhering to food hygiene regulations and Catering Manager’s standards.
- Complete general cleaning duties throughout the catering outlet.
- Prepare, cook, and present food to food hygiene standards under supervision.
- Operate a cashless catering system.
- Ensure all equipment, surfaces, and floors are cleaned and sterilized.
- Operate and clean heavy equipment (ovens, fryers) according to Health and Safety guidelines.
- Defrost and clean fridges and freezers as needed.
- Inform the Catering Manager or Assistant Cook about equipment repairs or maintenance.
- Promote good customer relations and provide polite service with correct portion control.
- Perform other duties and in-house training as assigned by the Catering Manager.
