Care Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents to lead stimulating and fulfilling lives.
  • Delivering person-centered care and support, respecting resident independence, privacy, dignity, and choice.
  • Leading and supervising carers and senior carers with support from a registered nurse or care practitioner.
  • Ensuring individual care plans are followed meticulously to achieve high standards.
  • Providing quality one-to-one time for each resident.
  • Undertaking clinical responsibilities, including recording observations (weight, blood pressure), and simple wound dressing procedures.
  • Acting as a role model for the team, fostering a safe, reassuring, and happy environment for residents and their families.

Skills and Expertise

  • Senior-level care experience.
  • Experience supervising others.
  • Understanding of clinical care for the elderly.
  • Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
  • Enthusiastic, tenacious, and integrity-driven.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to a vibrant, supportive culture prioritizing residents and families.
