Care Assistant – York
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support to residents within a 20-mile radius.
- Monitoring the delivery of care when on duty.
- Contributing to person-centred care planning for each resident.
- Recording observations (e.g., temperature, blood pressure).
- Providing support and companionship to residents.
Skills and Expertise
- Background in care and understanding of elderly care.
- Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- Understanding of the healthcare industry.
- Good understanding of GCSE English and Maths (C or above, desirable).
- Dedicated and compassionate with a passion for supporting the wellbeing of residents.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Driving license and car (or ready access to one).
