Key Responsibilities
- Providing general care, including assisting residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and mobility.
- Supporting residents with specialist dementia care.
- Helping residents maintain a home-like environment.
- Engaging residents in enjoyable activities like bingo, shopping, and live music.
- Developing strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Respecting residents’ choices, dignity, and independence.
- Contributing to the development of residents’ Care Plans, including awareness of specialist support needs.
Skills and Expertise
- Compassionate and supportive nature.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- (Advantageous) NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care.
