Cancer Improvement Project Manager – Manchester

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of the cancer improvement collaborative.
  • Developing significant improvement projects.
  • Leading a portfolio of change projects.
  • Supporting the delivery of other change projects.
  • Working across MFT, various tumour groups.
  • Delivering change to integrate clinical services.
  • Coordinating change projects within and across hospitals and partners.

Skills and Expertise

  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering practical change and/or quality improvement projects in acute settings.
  • Proactive and motivated.
  • High-level interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to bring people with you, overcome resistance, and operate at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information for evidence-based improvement.
  • Capable of working independently and leading transformation projects.
