Butchery Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Working with customers to develop their business and understand the local market, providing excellent service.
- Maintaining high standards in stock, food safety (including recording), fresh meat and pre-packed meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
- Developing a business plan to support sales and profitability growth with the Store Manager.
- Greeting customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders, and offering helpful advice with a smile.
- Ordering and managing stock, including stocktaking.
- Developing and managing a small team, including staff rotas.
- Cutting meat to order.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Coordinating deliveries or order pickups.
- Controlling waste.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in butchery.
- Excellent product knowledge of all meat proteins.
- Self-motivated and results-driven approach.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Team management experience.
- Stock management proficiency.
