Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities to build partnerships for new opportunities.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of business development strategies and plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, business partners, and related organizations to seek new opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze the marketplace.
- Participate in sales strategies and policies.
- Generate and facilitate the total solution of business development and continuous growth.
- Meet customer needs and assist the business in achieving lending commitment.
- Ensure business goals are met consistently with values.
- Handle concerns and complaints at first point of contact, ensuring good customer outcomes.
- Formulate and drive a business plan to achieve all KPIs.
- Understand and adhere to relevant laws, conflicts of interest, and anti-money laundering guidelines.
- Complete all control tasks in a timely manner.
- Operate within the training and competence scheme, ensuring provision of accurate information to customers.
- Respond and adapt to shifting priorities and deliver effective performance within challenging timelines.
- Liaise with colleagues to share best practice and flex capacity between teams.
- Build a strong internal and external network of stakeholders and proactively promote a culture where risk is managed effectively.
Skills and Expertise
- Understanding of audit and risk requirements (internal and external).
- Experience of meeting and exceeding customer needs.
- Relevant professional qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience in delivering presentations to customers.
- Effective relationship management, diary management, and time management.
- Knowledge of technology platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, and the ability to network effectively.
- Diploma in Lending Skills Professional Qualification (or equivalent). (If not held, requirement to study and complete within 18 months of enrolment).
