Bank Single Point of Contact Officer – Cambridgeshire
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial contact point (telephone/email) for referrers to Luton Community services (community nursing, end of life care, urgent response).
- Provide administrative support across Cambridgeshire Community Services (reception, general admin, customer service, personal assistant, filing, secretarial).
- Screen calls to the Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
- Liaise with clinicians and agencies to support hospital admission avoidance and timely discharge.
- Input and upload referrals to System One, completing triage templates.
- Complete accurate patient records.
- Observe and maintain confidentiality (Data Protection Act).
- Adhere to Trust risk assessment, risk management, infection control, and information governance policies.
- Undertake mandatory and relevant training.
- Participate in clinical and safeguarding audits, and emergency preparedness.
- Adhere to safeguarding people responsibilities (children and adults at risk).
- Maintain relevant safeguarding competencies and comply with local safeguarding partnerships practice.
- Carry out duties with regard to Trust Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Adhere to the code of conduct on confidentiality and all Trust policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to respond to other duties as needed.
Skills and Expertise

- Experience in healthcare or customer service environments.
- Proficiency with relevant IT systems (e.g., System One).
