Audit Portfolio Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end audit execution and action follow-ups through effective planning and relationship management across portfolio of audits.
  • Providing timely, actionable feedback, empowering colleagues, and contributing to their development through collaboration, career coaching, and mentoring to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Independent business monitoring through regular conversations with senior leaders and representing Group Audit at Committees to influence decisions.
  • Managing relationships with colleagues, including senior executives, and collaborating with colleagues across the function, First and Second Lines of Defence.

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience auditing private and public cloud platforms, software development lifecycle, modern engineering practices, and tools.
  • Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in Economic Crime.
  • Proven track record of leading Economic Crime audits, expertise in auditing key products, front-to-back processes, channels, and IT systems.
  • Experience identifying key risks associated with technology use in business processes, applying IT controls knowledge to audit automated business controls, and influence implementation of controls during transformation initiatives.
  • Highly skilled in writing and agreeing high-quality findings and audit reports.
  • Critical thinking ability to use internal, external, business, and technology information to provide forward-looking and impactful insights on current and emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills to manage and influence senior relationships independently while building credibility and trust.
  • Strong project management skills to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, Internal/External Audit or a Risk Function with a good knowledge of financial products in Banking and Insurance.
  • (Optional) Knowledge of Economic Crime regulations.
  • (Optional) International Compliance Association (ICA) qualifications or equivalent.
