Associate Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the strategic and operational management of projects through all project phases
- Define and disseminate project success criteria
- Identify and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation plans as necessary
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- Conduct project quality assurance reviews and implement necessary improvements
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Building and maintaining stakeholder commitment to the project
- Conduct project post reviews and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Skills and Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years experience in project management, specifically in digital solution implementation in an operational business
- PRINCE2, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications (Ideally)
- Proven track record of management and prioritisation of multiple projects
- Ability to engage at a senior level to secure buy-in and support and provide challenge in an effective way
- Ability to express specialized and complex ideas or principles to non-expert staff
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK on a weekly basis
