Assistant Store Manager Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and excel creating amazing value everyday!
- Vital link between the Store Manager and the store team, shaping the experiences of the team and customers.
- Drive sales and use creative flair in merchandising on and off-plan to showcase value on GM and FMCG products.
- Creating an environment aligned with core values of love for customers, care for colleagues, and protecting profits (pounds and euros).
- Leading daily huddles to achieve commercial objectives (sales, service, and shrink).
- Ensuring products are priced, merchandised, and maintained for smooth store operations.
- Managing new colleagues inductions and collaborating with supervisors to drive ongoing training and development.
Skills and Expertise
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Merchandising and product knowledge (GM & FMCG)
- Experience in retail management (preferred)
- Understanding of retail policies and procedures
- Commercial awareness and a focus on sales targets
