Assistant Psychologist – Major Trauma Service

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and operationalisation of an integrated physical and psychological care model for trauma victims.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in other Major Trauma Centres to ensure equitable system-wide care, including during and post major incidents.
  • Implement and maintain the integrated model within the trust, focusing on patient-centered transformation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the London system to establish communication and governance.
  • Contribute to systems designed to evaluate the service, including designing and maintaining information monitoring systems, and managing data for individuals aged 18 and over.
  • Contribute to the development of the service by focusing on evaluation, outcome monitoring, data management, and analysis.
  • Produce data and reporting systems for communication with project leadership and internal/external partners, including London MTCs, using formal data analysis and presentation.

Skills and Expertise

  • Degree-level knowledge of psychological research.
  • Experience completing research, clinical audits, and service evaluations.
