Alternative Provision Educator
Key Responsibilities
- Working with young people, including vulnerable young people.
- Building strong relationships with families.
- Planning and delivering small group sessions to students.
- Developing provision to ensure student learning and progress, especially those struggling with mainstream curriculum or not attending school.
- Potentially working at various on and offsite alternative provision locations (e.g., Selby College).
Skills and Expertise
- Extensive experience working with young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with families
- Experience in planning and delivering small group sessions
- Strong understanding of alternative provision and student needs
