Activities Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Help and engage residents to socialise within the home.
- Provide a variety of activities catering to all tastes, abilities, and cultures.
- Plan and initiate rolling/individual programmes, encouraging residents to maintain or try new hobbies.
- Support and encourage colleagues, relatives, and friends to participate in activities with residents.
- Willingly accompany residents to offsite activities.
- Assist with innovative fund-raising initiatives and budgeting for entertainment, materials, and outings.
- Create a supportive, caring, and kind environment, ensuring a secure and safe atmosphere.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience working with the elderly in similar environments.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Caring nature with a personalized approach.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes.
- Ability to work under pressure without negatively impacting others.
- Warm, approachable, and engaging persona.
- Outgoing and infectious personality.
