Activities Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and delivering an ongoing programme of activities and events for residents.
- Engaging residents, promoting their independence, and tailoring activities to individual needs.
- Getting to know residents, understanding their interests, and creating new memories.
- Working alongside team members to provide care, warmth, and kindness.
- Engaging with the local community to enhance activity programmes.
- Encouraging team members, relatives, and friends to participate in activities.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in creating, organizing, and delivering events and activities.
- Experience working with elderly people in a residential setting.
- Confidently engaging with residents to understand their needs and interests.
- Ability to engage with the local community.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
