Key Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing engaging activities for residents.
- Assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events.
- Supporting residents with social interaction.
- Developing new activity ideas based on resident hobbies.
- Engaging the care home team in activities.
- Prioritising kindness and compassion in all interactions.
- Recognizing and reporting potential abuse, harm, or neglect.
- Attending and completing safeguarding and relevant training.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals (preferred).
- Experience in developing activity programs (preferred).
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in IT and time management.
- Ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- A kind and positive attitude.
