Activities Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Helping and engaging residents to socialize within the home.
- Providing a variety of activities catering to all tastes, abilities, and cultures.
- Planning and initiating rolling/individual programmes.
- Encouraging residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies and try new activities.
- Supporting and encouraging colleagues, relatives, and friends to participate in activities with residents.
- Willingly accompanying residents to offsite activities.
- Assisting with innovative fundraising initiatives and budgeting for entertainment, materials, and outings.
- Creating a supportive, caring, and kind environment.
- Ensuring a secure and safe atmosphere for residents.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience working with elderly residents.
- Experience in a similar activities role.
- Caring nature and ability to provide a personalized approach.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes.
- Ability to work under pressure without negatively impacting others.
