Accounts Receivable Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company administrative systems and procedures.
- Produce monthly invoice runs, ensuring timely completion and accurate billing.
- Post daily bank receipts and allocate remittances accurately and promptly.
- Process monthly direct debit collections, ensuring correct submission and allocation.
- Maintain resident records, ensuring accurate input of paperwork and resident data.
- Check admissions and discharges, setting up new accounts within the month.
- Minimize debt movements by working with local authorities to ensure timely payments and accurate allocations.
- Work towards KPIs.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines.
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Relevant experience and empathy for supporting customers in financial difficulty, especially care home residents and families.
- Team player with a proactive approach to sharing ideas and improving business processes.
- Drive, passion for continuous learning, and adaptability to change.
- Strong logical thought process for resolving queries.
