Accounts Assistant Falkirk

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Bookkeeping
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Assisting with corporate and personal tax returns
  • General office and administrative duties

Skills and Expertise

  • Qualified by experience or currently working in an accountancy practice
  • Open to school leavers, college leavers (HNC/HND), and graduates
  • Positive attitude and ability to work using own initiative
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage Line 50, and IRIS (beneficial, but not essential)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel
