Semi-Senior Accountant Swansea
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and prepare accounts and tax computations for diverse client portfolios (companies, partnerships, sole traders).
- Report directly to the director or client manager, attending meetings and addressing client queries.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns adhering to regulations.
- Provide ad hoc bookkeeping assistance using accounting software (Sage 50, Xero).
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering collaboration.
Skills and Expertise
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting practice.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Sage and Xero (preferred, not essential).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.
- Full UK driving license.
