Pharmacy Technician Trainee – Accuracy Checking

Key Responsibilities

  • Participating in the entire dispensing process
  • Checking and preparing medication orders
  • Ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals
  • Delivering courteous and effective customer service
  • Completing and maintaining accurate administrative records
  • Managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
  • Receiving, storing, and issuing medications and other supplies
  • Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Providing healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources

Skills and Expertise

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • NVQ3 qualified
  • Completed accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent
  • Prior experience in a customer-focused environment
