Catering Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the kitchen area clean at all times.
- Prepare and assist the chef in general preparation.
- Maintain correct food storage and holding temperatures.
- Act within Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to work experience placements.
- Carry out other reasonably comparable duties as required.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in a similar role (advantageous, but full training provided).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Respect for equal opportunities.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Part-time role (30 hours per week).
- Term-time only plus inset days (38.6 weeks per year).
- Total paid weeks: 44.2 weeks per annum.
- Salary: 11.44 per hour.
- Day shift, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
- Required experience: 1 year in food preparation and customer service.
