Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design structural systems for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools such as Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
- Manage projects from conception through to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively
- Proficiency in structural design software including Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation
- Excellent mathematical skills with a strong understanding of engineering principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail
- Experience with structural engineering software (Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, MicroStation)
- Registration with the Institution of Structural Engineers (STRUCTE)
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Masters degree
- PE licence or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory)

Salary: 37,800 – 53,976 per annum depending on experience. Candidates MUST have the right to work in the UK. Full Time & Part Time Available / Permanent.
