Key Responsibilities
- Progressing and developing the psychology offer across WCDS diagnostic and intervention pathways.
- Working as part of a progressive psychology team within a multidisciplinary Child Development Service.
- Providing assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental differences.
- Developing the social communication assessment pathway, including pre- and post-diagnostic support.
Skills and Expertise
- Good insight and working knowledge of SEND.
- Values multidisciplinary working.
- Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental differences (preferred).
- Enthusiasm for gaining experience in this speciality.
- Good knowledge of child development.
- Ability to work in creative and thoughtful ways.
- Potential to develop projects in response to service user needs and professional interests.
