Play Worker – Hertfordshire

Key Responsibilities

  • Offering stimulating play opportunities for children and young people (5-19) with learning disabilities.
  • Providing high-quality childcare tailored to individual needs.
  • Running Saturday clubs (term-time) in Hemel Hempstead and St Albans, and Playschemes during school holidays.

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience working with children and young people with special needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • Knowledge of Paediatric First Aid, Epilepsy Awareness, Seizure Response, and Moving & Handling.
  • Ability to create engaging and safe play environments.
