Sous Chef Opportunity in Prestigious London Restaurant
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Oversee station production and maintain cleanliness.
- Maintain high quality standards for presentation and taste.
- Communicate effectively with team members, support colleagues, and coach junior chefs.
- Collaborate with head chef on menu development and recipe improvements.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure equipment functionality.
Skills and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role (ideally 5+ years)
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
