Sous Chef Opportunity in Prestigious London Restaurant

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Oversee station production and maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain high quality standards for presentation and taste.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, support colleagues, and coach junior chefs.
  • Collaborate with head chef on menu development and recipe improvements.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure equipment functionality.

Skills and Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role (ideally 5+ years)
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
