Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team to ensure efficient, safe, and legally compliant delivery operations, upholding high customer service standards.
- Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and set challenging targets to minimize payroll costs.
- Understanding the local market to provide the best service, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Managing the team effectively to meet all customer service requirements and engage with customers, using feedback to improve service.
- Working with the regional team to identify and develop/improve working methods.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous experience and knowledge of deliveries/transport.
- Management CPC.
- Experience of managing a warehouse operation.
- Engaging with customers and building strong relationships.
- Developing new ideas and challenging a team to improve delivery service.
- Identifying talent and encouraging development in a team.
- Motivating a team to build a strong customer service culture.
- Communicating openly and influencing key stakeholders.
- Planning and organizing effectively.
- Hands-on approach (beneficial).
