Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker – Cheadle Hulme, Stockport
Key Responsibilities
- Support less experienced staff to achieve high-quality care standards.
- Establish an enabling culture promoting young people’s life chances.
- Contribute to developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing systems and policies for compliance.
- Supervise and/or undertake keyworking responsibilities, including complex cases, especially safeguarding.
- Develop and maintain awareness of safeguarding issues, assessing and recording risk.
- Work flexibly to undertake a full range of duties, respecting and valuing young people.
Skills and Expertise
- QCF Level 4 in children, young people, and families practitioner or equivalent
- Significant childcare experience
- Experience working with statutory and voluntary agencies
- Experience in multi-disciplinary approaches to clinical, physical, and emotional needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written English and IT skills
- Valid driving licence (desirable)
