• Shaping data-driven strategies and delivering impactful insights for embedded finance and mobile banking products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, operations) to optimise data processes, uncover actionable insights, and influence product development.
• Mentoring and leading junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
• Taking ownership of key data initiatives driving product success, blending technical work with strategic collaboration.
• Teaming up with stakeholders from product, engineering, finance, marketing, or operations to analyse customer behaviour and shape product development strategies.
• Leveraging SQL and Python to build and optimise data models, automate workflows, and support data transformations, creating actionable dashboards for stakeholders.
• Leading the development and deployment of machine learning models for improved decision-making and product personalization.
• Exploring and implementing emerging AI technologies to enhance products and business operations.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Skills and Expertise

• Proven leadership and mentoring experience, supporting team members in fast-paced environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, experience in data modelling, familiarity with tools like DBT and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with dashboarding and data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of analytics techniques (experimentation, statistical inference, machine learning).
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
