Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise workload according to service requirements and urgency, working on own initiative and referring to the appropriate manager as required.
- Use Microsoft Office IT packages and databases to provide efficient, high-quality admin services, including audiotyping.
- Type correspondence relating to other areas of Consultants work.
- Complete administrative tasks and typing relating to Oncology, including organising appointments following MDT.
- Ensure each patients episode of care details (correspondence, diagnostic reports, etc.) are documented and filed appropriately in the notes upon receipt/despatch.
- Arrange appointments as necessary.
Skills and Expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office IT packages and databases
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with audiotyping a plus
