Assistant Psychologist – Major Trauma Service
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and operationalisation of an integrated physical and psychological care model for trauma victims.
- Collaborate with counterparts in other Major Trauma Centres to ensure equitable system-wide care, including during and post major incidents.
- Implement and maintain the integrated model within the trust, focusing on patient-centered transformation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the London system to establish communication and governance.
- Contribute to systems designed to evaluate the service, including designing and maintaining information monitoring systems, and managing data for individuals aged 18 and over.
- Contribute to the development of the service by focusing on evaluation, outcome monitoring, data management, and analysis.
- Produce data and reporting systems for communication with project leadership and internal/external partners, including London MTCs, using formal data analysis and presentation.
Skills and Expertise
- Degree-level knowledge of psychological research.
- Experience completing research, clinical audits, and service evaluations.
