Learning Support Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing help and support to children with a variety of needs.

Skills and Expertise

  • At least one year’s experience working with primary-aged children.
  • Experience working in a friendly and busy environment.
  • Understanding of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Level 2 qualification in play work/childcare.
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, and other staff.
  • Good understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
