Experienced Chef Required – Suffolk
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and providing daily nutritious meals for residents
- Ensuring purchased food is fresh and within budget
- Maintaining health and safety and environmental standards
- Inspiring and motivating the kitchen team
Skills and Expertise
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering (or equivalent)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene, with willingness to achieve Intermediate Food Hygiene
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in healthcare or hospitality
- Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of nutrition and menu development to meet dietary requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Training and supervision of kitchen staff experience
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
