Care Home Maintenance Manager – Tyne and Wear
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a clean and well-maintained care home environment.
- Carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks within the care home building and grounds.
- Fixing minor repairs, such as leaky taps.
- Planting and maintaining gardens.
- Leading a maintenance team.
- Supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
- Liaising with contractors.
Skills and Expertise
- Property maintenance experience.
- At least one trade skill.
- Ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
- Working with sensitivity to residents’ needs.
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IT literacy.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
