Care Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residents to lead stimulating and fulfilling lives.
- Delivering person-centered care and support, respecting resident independence, privacy, dignity, and choice.
- Leading and supervising carers and senior carers with support from a registered nurse or care practitioner.
- Ensuring individual care plans are followed meticulously to achieve high standards.
- Providing quality one-to-one time for each resident.
- Undertaking clinical responsibilities, including recording observations (weight, blood pressure), and simple wound dressing procedures.
- Acting as a role model for the team, fostering a safe, reassuring, and happy environment for residents and their families.
Skills and Expertise
- Senior-level care experience.
- Experience supervising others.
- Understanding of clinical care for the elderly.
- Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
- Enthusiastic, tenacious, and integrity-driven.
- Strong communication skills.
