Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders of communication and swallowing in adult acquired neurology.
• Manage a personal caseload of adult clients and deliver SLT services individually.
• Develop professional knowledge and skills, increasing clinical competence.
• Complete competences for newly qualified therapists (RCSLT).
• Provide training on acquired disorders of communication/swallowing to others (AHPs, carers, etc).

Skills and Expertise

• Strong clinical skills in adult acquired neurology.
• Experience with assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to develop professional knowledge and skills.
• Competence in completing newly qualified therapist requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
