We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker – Adults 2 (Grade 9) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality support and services to adults in need. In this critical role, you will work closely with individuals facing a variety of challenges, helping them to improve their overall well-being and quality of life. The successful candidate will utilize a person-centered approach, assessing the unique needs of each client and developing tailored intervention plans that promote independence and empower individuals to navigate their circumstances effectively. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community organizations, and families to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients. Additionally, your role will involve advocating for necessary resources and services while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in adult social work and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and strengths.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in conjunction with clients and their families.
Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients facing diverse challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Advocate for clients’ rights and access to services and resources.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
Monitor clients’ situations and adjust care plans as needed to reflect changes in circumstances.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or equivalent is required; a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
Valid social work license or equivalent certification appropriate to the role.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in social work, specifically with adult populations.
Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in social work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Proficient in using electronic case management systems and software.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £19.85
Location: Bath, Bath & N E Somerset
