Key Responsibilities: Packing & Quality Control: Ensure food is packed in accordance with written specifications, conducting temperature checks, and verifying product quality and date accuracy. Sealing & Stock Management: Seal flight trollies, record numbers, and coordinate/manage stock levels to ensure smooth operations. Trolley and Equipment Handling: Sort, assemble, and check trolley seals while cross-checking with customs paperwork to maintain high standards. Offloading & Sorting: Efficiently offload, sort, and deliver food and equipment to the correct processing areas, ensuring everything is properly replenished. Security & Safety: Patrol the premises, secure entrances, check staff and visitors in and out, and conduct routine searches of items entering and exiting the premises. Escort & Access Control: Escort visitors and staff as necessary and monitor controlled access areas to maintain security. General Duties: Maintain cleanliness standards, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and clients at all times. Knowledge and Skills Required: Experience: Minimum of 1 year’s experience in catering (desirable). Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure. Strong communication skills and excellent teamwork abilities. Good literacy skills (both written and spoken). Understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety standards. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work. Why Join Us? Benefits & Requirements:
– Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
– Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
– 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
