Early Childhood Practitioner (Fixed Term until 22 September 2025) – PKC12130
£21,056 – £22,557 (30 Hours per week, Term-time only)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Early Childhood Practitioner (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Pitlochry High School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a fixed term Early Childhood Practitioner role within Perth & Kinross Council.

Having the ability to work in a team situation is essential and a flexible approach to working with young children and parents is required.

The service will be offering child-centred Early Learning and Childcare (aged 2-12) to cover the whole service within Early Learning and Childcare and Wraparound Care.

Our Nursery is open between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

Requirements

You should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.
