Job Title: Structural Steel Erector
Location: Warwickshire (fitting on site all-round the uk )
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Pay: £19 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Structural Steel Erectors to join our growing team. As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of steel structures on construction sites. Your role will be critical to ensuring the safe and efficient assembly of steel frameworks for buildings and other infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erect steel frames, beams, columns, and other structural components according to project specifications and detailed drawings.
* Use cranes, rigging, and other heavy equipment to position steel sections and securely fasten them into place.
* Assemble, bolt, and weld steel structures as required to ensure structural integrity.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all components are properly aligned and secured.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
* Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately to execute tasks effectively.
* Perform quality checks throughout the erection process to ensure that installations meet project specifications and industry standards.
* Assist with lifting, rigging, and transporting steel materials as required on-site.
* Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of tools, equipment, and machinery, reporting any malfunctions or safety hazards.
* Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to the site supervisor or project manager.
* Coordinate with other trades and construction teams to ensure the smooth progression of the project and resolve any issues that may arise.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Structural Steel Erector or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of structural steel installation techniques and safety protocols.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
* Proficiency in using cranes, rigging, and other equipment for steel lifting and placement.
* Strong welding, bolting, and assembly skills.
* Cherry Picker and IPATH (Industrial Powered Access) licenses are required.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively on-site.
* Valid CSCS card (or equivalent) and other relevant certifications are desirable.
